Fly-In & Dine In: The Rose Diner

The winter of 2015 has been unseasonably warm and dry in the mountain west. Book Review: An Astronauts Guide...

Growing up with the space age, I have read my share of space biographies. From John Glenn and Neil Armstrong, through stories from shuttle pilots, I have had a front-row seat to the conquest of space. While they have all been fascinating, they have generally all been a straight-forward telling of the events and the sensations of the teller. From the title to the end, Col Hadfield’s book is different. He does talk about his life prior to NASA, and he does talk about his three space missions. But…See More

Training & Safety: Are You The Best You Can Be?

Well, that is sort of a question that has no good answer. But, maybe this is a good resolution for 2015. And I would like to offer some thoughts that might help you keep such a resolution. If I told you that you needed to learn a power setting and pitch setting and configuration for every phase of flight, you would think that your work load just increased dramatically. But actually, that knowledge, along with the realization that the trim wheel is your best friend, is going to make your flying…See More

Having trouble figuring out how to post/respond. This was not a back country trip...fly to Browning, MT. Blackfoot guide picked up and we fished five lakes on the Reservation. This lady came to play on the 5th day...catch and release....along with almost all of the catches. Her replica will be hung here in the office. We'll see if this one posts....I'm not feeling too positive on that!
