I flew in for the 2012 festival. Glad it's later in the spring. It was cold and rainy that year. May make it this year.

Matt, don't know where you live in Virginia, but seriously consider attending the 17th Virginia Regional Festival of Flight at Suffolk Executive Airport (KSFQ), May 31, June 1. This is a major East Coast fly-in with forums, workshops, EAA rule judging, an air show this year on Sunday at 1pm for an hour, then Young Eagles Flights. And new this year, we have a special visit by the Tuskegee Airmen 81' long mobile museum and the Red Tail P-51-C. Also, in a special display tent we will have 10 commercial drone manufactures, club members and NASA demonstrating and explaining this hot topic in aviation. Our web site is www.VirginiaFlyIn.org  Come on down. I'm the PR Chairman of this all volunteer event. You can find me on the web site.Virginia Festival of Flight

I plan on making a few fly-ins around Virginia and flying to as many Virginia airports in my Pietenpol as I can. Without an electrical system, that cuts out the Class C and above airports but there are plenty of we can get into. Virginia has an Aviation Passport that you get stamped at each airport and I'd like to fill that up. Should be fun.
