Edgar F. Borgatta is one of our generation's most crucial sociology researchers. His works, such as this encyclopedia, are very comprehensible in the sociology field and significantly impact it. I love his ideas; I have noticed similar ones in essays about Harrison Bergeron, a fictional novel that raises social issues (further details at https://artscolumbia.org/free-essays/harrison-bergeron/). The whole story was around the idea of social equality and satirizing American society in general. I love how Kurt Vonnegut, the novel's author, doesn't idealize the American culture and openly speaks out about his issues. I think recognizing is the first step to solving the problem.
