Vern: Thank you -- I've shown that photo to everyone for a half dozen years and nobody said it was anything other than the Stearman. Truthfully, the Boeing aircraft shown is flying off the Lexington in 1937 however, only Corsairs, Martins, and Great Lakes were used on the Hunt. I just really liked the photo yet there are photos in the book that do show actual planes flying off the Lex. Best Always, Douglas

Not a "Stearman", looks like an F4B-4, but still made by Boeing.  Nice action picture though.
